Children

 

Children's Ministry has a wide range of programs for all ages of children.

 

  • Weekly program on Wonderful Wednesdays during school year

  • Chapel Choir

  •  Summer weekly programs

  •  Summer camp at Camp Dickenson

  • Vacation Bible School

  • Special holiday programs such as: Valentine's Mystery event, Easter, Fall Harvest & Christmas program.

Youth

 

The youth at St. Paul are actively involved in various programs. 

 

  • Being involved with youth group

  • Singing in the praise band

  • Helping to pack the HOPE INC food packs

  • Helping with various children's programs & helping with the sound/audio for the SonLight service.

  • Participating in local and non local mission trips.

Sunday school

Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 a.m. and go until 10:45 a.m.  All classes welcome new members! Please see "More" tab for more detailed information about Sunday school description and location.

 

 

 

 

Justice & Mercy

JUSTICE AND MERCY ADVENT OPPORTUNITIES

 

Adult

 

We offer a variety of Bible Studies, UMW, music opportunities and volunteer positions.

 

Bible Studies:

A new Bible Study Class will begin after the

Holiday Season.

Serve: Sunday School, Children's Church, Youth Council, Nursery, helping with set up/clean up for Wonderful Wednesday & Sunday morning Greeter.

 

Music

 

We have a variety of music ranging for all ages.

The Sanctuary (Adult) Choir- practices at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday.  This choir sings and leads the congregation in music each Sunday at the 10:55 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. Contact Leslie Mabe for more information- lmabe@wythek12.org

 

 

The Praise Band - practices at 5:00 p.m. most Sundays.  Youth in grades 9th through 12th grades as well as adults are welcome to sing with the Praise Band.  This group leads music for the 9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service each Sunday. Gentry Ringers     

The Gentry Ringers practice on Wednesaday evenings at 5:45 p.m.  This is an adult handbell choir under the direction of Leslie Mabe.  Like the chapel choir, the Gentry Ringers play in various worship services throughout the year.  Contact Leslie Mabe for more information- lmabe@wythek12.org

HOPE is a human services organization facilitating initiatives and coordinating services aimed at improving the overall well-being of individuals and families by providing the tools necessary to increase self-sufficiency, promote healthy lifestyles and enhance the quality of life.

 

 

Service Area
HOPE serves the counties of Wythe, Bland, Carroll, Grayson and Smyth and the city of Galax in Southwest Virginia

 

 

Community Backpack Program
Funded by the Wythe-Bland Foundation, a program to ensure that young students in Wythe and Bland counties have food to eat during weekends and holidays.

    ► Sheffey Elementary School
    ► Speedwell Elementary School
    ► Bland County Elementary School
    ► Head Start Program-Max Meadows
    ► Head Start Program-Minnick Education Center
